First of all, a very Happy Easter to everyone. I hope you will have a wonderful day and maybe enjoy some of that Pizza Rustica I had mentioned earlier. It’s freezing cold in New Jersey, so we’ll have to bundle up to have that Easter Egg hunt.
Yes, we’re back at home, but later on in this post there’s a last little bit on our wonderful trip to Rome.
Being here has so filled my head with a flavor for ancient Rome! I’ve been able to finish the first draft of FATE CALLS, the Christmas vampire book thanks to the trip, but here’s a question for you –
What do you think is a sexier name: Hadrian or Adriano?
Let me know and you may find yourself in the dedication to this next novella.
During the first few days, I was wound up due to the time change and had the energy to chat with you. The last couple of days in Rome were so busy. We dropped into bed, exhausted most nights.
Here’s those final shots and photos. We’ve been all over Rome and even took a side trip to Tivoli and the amazing gardens there! All the fountains are fed from the river. The water is pumped through the fountains by using gravity as the water travels down the mountainside.
Be sure that you’re ready for the sounds of running water as there’s some more movies there of the fountains at Ville d’Este. You may even recognize some of the shots from the movies.
Here’s those pictures and movies for you.
One of the fountains at Tivoli:
You can go to the back of that fountain and here’s the view from there:
This is one of the more well-known fountains. It’s appeared in a number of motion pictures and yes, I forgot to turn the camera around!
Hello! Good Site! Thanks you! msqukszeoc
So glad you liked it! It was really amazing to be there live and walking around things that are thousands of years old. We don’t have anything that old here in the States.
Absoluely stunning. Thank you so much for sharing your pics and video! As well as sharing Roma thru your words.
LOL! I’ve never heard of him, but will look it up.
But Hadrian looks good in tight pants and even better with them off.
If you find him roaming around outside of my weird imagination, please let me know. 🙂
(Seriously, I have no clue if there’s an actual football player with that name. It just sounded … appropriate.)
Hadrian sounds like a former football player to me.
e.g. Hadrian “The Wall” NameThatEndsWithAVowel.
Whether or not that’s sexy depends on how good he still looks in tight pants!
I kind of liked Adriano as well, especially if she said it the Italian way with the A like in Ahh.
Let’s see what others have to say!
Hadrian just doesn’t do it for me. I like adraino
Uh oh, sounds like I’m the minority. I love Adriano over Hadrian. Hadrian just doesn’t do it for me…I get this cold feeling reading it. Adriano reeks Adonis, but what do I know? I was over here wishing you a Happy Easter, Caridad, and the videos are loading, but I can’t wait to see them! I’d love to see Rome one day…the place really intrigues me!
I have to agree with Hadrian. Have really been enjoying your pics! And Happy Easter – I’m in PA and it’s cold here too.
Hadrian. Adriano sounds too close to the feminine name and I can just hear Rocky shouting, “Yo!”
Glad you are back safe and sound. Happy Easter.
Wow the pictures are gorgeous!
Glad your back in NJ and had a safe trip. Happy Easter to you!
I think that Hadrian is definitely a masculine name. Adriano is a really good rival but Hadrian just bleeds sex appeal. 🙂 will you be at Ed.Writer’s.Group tomorow?
