This area was originally established by German settlers, who were mainly farmers and dairy farmers. Several families in the area have "seen" ladies in bonnets and old-style long dresses, men in Confederate uniforms, among other sightings. My sister has one corner in her livingroom which never warms up and a photograph, which used to hang in that area, disappeared and was never found!
