Well, so far I like it. I enjoy combo werewolf/vampire novels. I would like to read a dom female taking advantage of Ramon. That might be fun.

It's very good book so far. I can't wait for the rest to see how it work out. Will Ramon partake in the Gauntlet? Will we have a third person who will blow Ramon out of Catalina mind into his heart instead? It sounds like you have the makings of a best seller.

I find myself reading more paranormal books than anything else. This one has the feel of a winner. I am looking forward to the rest of the story. It is very good. I enjoyed Moon Fever anthology also. Please don't enter me in the drawing as I already have Secret Agent Reunion. Whoever wins is in for a good read. Have a great day and take care.

I'm fairly new to reading paranormals. I have yet to try any yet. I think I have some ebooks. It sounds like an interesting book. Love the cover! Thanks for sharing, Caridad!

The opening paragraph should be a little more intense and captivating. The long sentences in it slow down the pace. Shorter sentences can make it more exciting. That's just a pet peave of mine. I like to be immediately captivated by the first paragraph and first page. That's the first taste the reader gets for your writing.

One other negative is the last name. I can't pronounce it. And to have something I can't pronounce, right away, in the second sentence might discourage me. I like to understand what I'm reading and if I am trying to sound out a four syllable name it might distract from the writing.

Besides that everything sounds great! The story is interesting and makes me want to read more.

I love dialogue so that's a plus when there's good dialogue.

Again, I am all for shorter sentences. It just makes it more intense. I like your ending. It is shorter and so the intensity is there.

''She had already given her heart to Ramon. Nothing her father said or did would change what she felt.''

I think it sounds good, Caridad. However I'm not thrilled with the heroine's last name. Too cliche.

I wasn't sure about it when I read your synopsis, but then I read the excerpt. Catalina is not your average female werewolf. Definitely makes me want to read the whole book. Need to know what happens next......

Okay since paranormals are my favorite genre I read them alot lol. But this one is totally different than anything I've read. And you absolutely can't leave us hanging there. If you don't get this published I want to read it anyways. lol

Caridad,

I have to be honest and tell you that
paranormals are not my most favorite
reads. I have read your "Crazy For The
Cat" which I thought was good and always try to keep an open mind when I approach a new genre.

I am fairly well taken with this excerpt. I
can already see the questions starting to
make themselves known as to the back
story that would explain how these
characters came to be. I know that I
will be looking forward to the published
version. I will want to understand how
this love story resolves itself. It is a
"reach" for me: a werewolf and a human.
Could someone risk injury with this type
of combination? Inquiring minds want
to know!!

To be honest, I read the description and kinda went "meh...i don't think so, its a bit too much for me" but I was kicking back having my tea and thought "I'll read it".

My opinion took a 180- its a great read so far! I want more. :D
