If the smoldering look on this handsome face doesn’t have you melting, I don’t know what to say.
His name is Michael Pare and the film is EDDIE AND THE CRUISERS. If you haven’t seen the movie, find it and buy it! The music is great as is the story, although the movie got mixed reviews and did not do well at the box office. Don’t know why, I watch it every time that it’s on and if I see the DVD anywhere, will definitely add it to my collection.
Michael is so absolutely hot as the tortured New Jersey rock star who wants to be understood. Totally totally hot. He’s been in a number of other B movies, but I haven’t seen much of him lately although he still looks good! Tom Berenger is also in the movie — another hottie and quite good in his role as the “poet” guy who puts the words to the music.
You can find out more about Michael by clicking here and visiting his official website!

He was on one of those teen highschool television shows before the movies. And I saw him listed in a new movie…one glimpse in a film clip.
by Irene June 23rd, 2008 at 6:58 amAhh. Yes.
Eddie and the Cruisers rule. (And Tom Berenger is still hot, too.)
You are right as usual. He is totally hot. Even with a few years added, he hasn’t lost a thing. I have both “Eddie and the Cruisers” movies. I watch them at least every couple of months. I also have to agree that Tom Berenger is so sexy. I have seen him in all kinds of movies and he always comes across as one hot man.
by Fannie June 23rd, 2008 at 9:21 amI hope everyone had a great week-end and that this week is even better. Hugs to all.
I had a great weekend and hope you did, too! I’m so glad you agree on the hotness of both of these men! They are great.
by Caridad June 23rd, 2008 at 9:25 amI just wanted to let you know that both Eddie movies are availabe at Amazon.com and at a reasonable price. I ordered mine a couple of years ago but they still have them. I went to the site to check before saying anything. You might want to check it out. Hugs.
by Fannie June 23rd, 2008 at 9:35 amHello to all,
Honey took a vacation break last week to
paint the outside trim of our house. We
wanted to get it done before hurricane
season progressed too far! I volunteered
to help, so my assignment was the front
door. #1 son, who is into Feng Shui, said
it should be painted red. Something to do
with prosperity! (With the current fuel
prices, we could probably use a bit more
prosperity.)
Midway through the first coat, I kept telling myself, “Self, this might not be such a good idea!” Self replied, ” Too
late, you’ve already started this job!”
By the time I finished the coat and it
had dried, it definitely looked better to
me. I plan on doing one or two more
coats, improving the look even more!
P. S. Nice looking young fellow, your
“Monday Michael!”

by Pat Cochran June 23rd, 2008 at 1:14 pmLOL! Michael is rather fine. My front door is red and I’ve been considering what other color to paint it, but I am just paint it another shade of red now that I know it may bring prosperity!!
