My daughter and I were walking in New York City the other day when we passed the Warwick Hotel. We had spent a week there during a conference years earlier, and I mentioned that Cary Grant had lived there for many years.
She said, “Who’s Cary Grant?” Ugh.
So today’s Guilty Pleasure Monday is a blast from the past — Cary Grant. He was handsome, witty and charming on screen. He starred in more movies than I can list, although two of my favorites are THE PHILADELPHIA STORY and TO CATCH A THIEF.
Hope you enjoyed today’s Guilty Pleasure Monday.
It would be nice, especially as four of these five people come back to Kansas to campaign for re-election, to be able to get them to elaborate upon what their votes meant. ,
Notorious. Nothing better than Notorious.
Oh, yeah! They don’t make them like this any more.
Someone said George Clooney was the modern Cary Grant. Not a chance!
I forgot about Father Goose! That was one of my favorites, especially since Leslie Caron looks just like my mom. In Cuba they used to confuse my mom with Leslie Caron.
You sure picked a good one today. I have always liked Cary. Being older 😆 , I have a lot of his movies. My favorite is Topper. But I also like Father Goose, Operation Petticoat and None but the Lonely Heart. He was also good in North by Northwest. Sorry I got carried away but as you can tell, he’s a favorite of mine. Have a great day and hugs to all.
