I realized after last Monday’s Guilty Pleasure (the manly Eric Dane), that there were a number of old time favorites I had been ignoring on our Mondays together.
Sure there are tons of glorious new men for us to share, but there’s also a host of oldies who will live on thanks to the many movies in which they appeared.
Here’s one of my favorites – Clark Gable – and in one of my favorite books and movies of all time — GONE WITH THE WIND. Definitely a movie that needs to be seen on the big screen!
Was Clark one of your favorite oldtime stars? If not, who else is? Share with us on this Guilty Pleasures Monday.
In my book, there is no one who can hold a candle to Jimmy Stewart.
I recently watched The Philadelphia Story and Harvey for the milliionth time.
Jimmy made me shiver.
Not a big Clark Gable fan, but I am a fan of his wife Carole Lombard. One of my favorites is Gary Cooper.
Ahhhh Clark Gable… great pick for a Guilty Pleasures Monday!!! 😉
Clark Gable was and is one of my favs. So sexy and debonaire. There was just something about that man. Of course I still like Cary Grant, Charlton Heston, and Robert Mitchum. Now there was sexy personified. Did you see him in Thunder Road? I watched that movie over and over just to see him. Have a great day and hugs to all.
Frankly, Scarlet…. Of course he is one of my favorites. I lked many of the ‘old’ stars. They were my idea of a star and we could idolize them without knowing TMI about them!
Oh yes, Clark Gable is to die for sexy! I love the old movies he graces. He’s a hero worthy of any romance author’s imagination. And every woman for that mantter!
