It’s been a Christmas tradition in our family to go to a local tree farm, pick a tree and then cut it down. Over the years the weather has varied from bitterly cold to almost balmy days. One of the best years was when we went there during a snowstorm. It was lovely to walk through the fields with the fresh scent of snow and pine in the air.
