I’ve been very busy the last few weeks with getting ready for my new grandbaby and work on the new South Beach Security Colorado Cousins (Tentative title) romantic suspense spinoff. So even though we’ve had the unofficial start of summer and the beach is calling, I haven’t been able to go to the beach and hunker down for some reading. But hubby and I decided to play hooky and hit the beach on Monday. It was a lovely day, with a clear, cerulean sky, no humidity, and great breeze. I got to finish RANCHER IN HER BED by Joanna Rock. It’s one of the old DESIRE series and I loved it! The day was so lovely I had to snap a photo to share with you! This is a picture of the nearby fishing pier. It somehow survived Hurricane Sandy even though Sandy took everything else – boardwalk and buildings – along this part of the Jersey Shore.
