Tuesday Takeover with Shana Gray

I’m very excited to have fellow Harlequin author Shana Gray with me today! Shana is sharing a little bit about herself and a tasty chicken recipe and if you like recipes also, please visit my Cook’s Treat section on the website. Please welcome Shana!

I’m thrilled to be here! Thank you, Caridad, for the invite.

I don’t know about you all, but I simply cannot believe how fast the time has flown by. It’s the middle of June and I swear the time clock has been wound up.

Here I am sitting in my gazebo (my oasis in the summer) surrounded by flowers, the trickle of a water fountain, and birds singing. My garden isn’t large, but it’s cozy. I like a wilder bee, hummingbird and butterfly friendly style of garden. About 14 years ago I planted a little maple tree and now it is glorious! Shades half of my garden, and lovely to sit under. Do you like to garden?

Am I a new-to-you author?

How about a little something about me ? I’m Shana Gray, and I live in a small town just outside Toronto. I’ve been writing, and telling stories most of my life. I’ve been published for fourteen years in contemporary romance, rom com, romantic suspense, er*tic romance, with various smaller presses in the earlier years and then Harlequin, Random House Loveswept, Headline Eternal Romance (Hachette UK) and Entangled. Also I write womens fiction as Catherine Hope, with a first book last year titled The Last Message.

My books are wide, available at all retailers, with a couple in KU. They are also available in Audio.

Do you like series? I have two! Girls Weekend Away, four books titled What Happens in Vegas, Meet Me in San Francisco, The Nashville Bet, A Match Made in Monaco. My second series is Get it On, currently with three books and more to come – these are my er*tic romance books.

If standalones are your preference take a look at Backdraft, Working Girl, The Road Home, and my Harlequin Blaze books More than a Fling, A Cowboy in Paradise. Both books are set in Hawaii. Working Girl is available in English, German, French, Spanish, Portuguese, and Dutch. To see more of my books head over to my bookshelf.

I’d be thrilled if you joined my newsletter, you get a free download too! And my FB group Shana’s Shananigators We share fun stuff, games, recipes and beside my newsletter they’re the first to hear all the news.

Speaking of recipes. I’m a hoarder. I have so many in my folders, saved in apps, and written down I doubt I could ever cook them all!

This dish goes well anytime of year and is so tasty!

Cheesy Mustard Chicken

2 lb chicken pieces skinned
1/2 c low fat yogurt
1/3 c light mayo
1/4 c sliced green onion
1T Dijon mustard
1T Worcestershire sauce
1/2 t thyme
1/2 t pepper
2T parm or mozz cheese

Place chicken in single layer in greased casserole or use parchment paper.
Combine all ingredients except cheese and spoon over chicken.
Bake 350 for about 45 minutes
Sprinkle with cheese and brown under broiler

I also have sourdough starter that I feed and use. It was on sleep mode for the last few months because of everything else that was going on. The other day I fed and watered the beast and it came alive with a roar!

I was wondering how you keep track of books you’ve read, your TBR, and reviews? I created a Reading Journal where you can keep track of all that, as well as your wish list, series tracker, monthly/yearly book tracker, DNFs, colouring pages, and more. It’s available on Amazon only, because everywhere else gave me a huge headache on turning it into a large format paperback. So the feedback is very positive. It certainly was a labour of love! Take a look and see if it could work for you at https://amzn.to/4c2KxYF.

I’ll be popping in throughout the day to check for comments and chat. Don’t be shy, say hi!
