Happy National Fire Pup Day! Who wouldn’t want 101 loveable Dalmatian fire pups? But how did Dalmatians become associated with firefighters? Apparently, Dalmatians were associated with horse-drawn coaches and when fire engines used to be horse-drawn, they would help clear the way so the engines could reach a fire and then, stay behind with the horses and help calm them! Interesting right? I don’t have any books with fire pups, although it might be interesting to write some, including pups who help identify arson cases. But I do have K-9s who help find missing people and cadavers in KILLER IN THE KENNEL. You’ll love this action-packed book which features a loveable bloodhound who will help South Beach Security find the serial killer at their new K-9 training facility.
