One of the most exciting things to happen during my 25 year career in publishing was to be nominated for the Romance Writer of America’s RITA for Best Paranormal Romance. The RITAs were the equivalent of the Oscars in the romance world and RWA would have a huge awards show for the nominees. This is a photo of my editor and me at the awards show.
