I have found that between retiring from my day job and the pandemic I have done a lot more decorating in and around the house. I always did some decorating for Christmas, but now it’s all the major holidays. Hearts and other things up for Valentine’s Day. A quick little smattering of shamrocks for St. Patrick’s day. Much more for Easter with a combination of cold-hardy flowers, Easter eggs, and other items. It takes a little time, but I find that it makes me so much cheerier. Here’s a quick shot of my spring flowers and some of the decorating!
Busy Monday Morning!
I’m taking a break today from our usual Guilty Pleasure Monday because it’s a very busy Monday morning.
Take a moment to visit the Danger Women Writing Blog where Cynthia Eden is chatting about sexy heroes and offering up an ARC of NEVER CRY WOLF, her June 28th release from Kensington Brava, to one lucky commenter.
Using Random.org, I’ve picked two winners for my Getting to Know You Blog: Cindy L. and Jane T. both win STRONGER THAN SIN T-shirts, copies of STRONGER THAN SIN, bath gels and other goodies!! Please e-mail me your postal addresses so I can send out your prizes.
But the fun and prizes don’t stop there! This morning I am over at Attacking the Page discussing how to write a sexy love scene. Drop by and leave a comment for a chance to win an ARC for THE LOST, the first book in my new paranormal romance series from Forever Romance.
Guilty Pleasures Monday – Colin Farrell
I must confess this Guilty Pleasures Monday choice is all Bad Boy. He’s got those wonderful Black Irish looks and I’ve enjoyed him in several of his movies — from his villian turn in DAREDEVIL (which is so not as bad as people say) to his appearance in THE RECRUIT and THE NEW WORLD.
Colin comes from a family of footballers, both father and uncle, and I understand that at one time he considered becoming a soccer player as well.
Last night Colin won the Golden Globe for Best Actor: Musical or Comedy for his role in IN BRUGES.
Hope you enjoyed this Guilty Pleasure Monday!
