The cooler temperature this morning was a sure reminder that fall is just days away. I love this time of the year at the beach. I think it’s one of the best times to go! Saturday I plan on going into Ocean Grove for their British Car Show. I love looking at all the beautiful automobiles, especially the MGs. I always wanted one as a kid.

This was a tough novella for me to write since I knew when I started that it might not have the kind of happily-ever-after that some readers might want. But as the story developed, I knew that these two characters were not only meant to be together, but to have something wonderful and unexpected happen at the end of the story! It made me tear up a bit and smile, and I hope you’ll feel the same way.

This is part of the Take a Chance series, so I wanted to do a story about two people who stepped out of their comfort zones and reached for something that they didn’t think was within their grasp.

In Bridget’s case, it’s about allowing herself to explore her feminine side and a possible relationship with retired Navy Captain Mark Smith. Bridget doesn’t normally throw caution to the wind and do one night stands, but she’s tired of being alone and if she’s not getting the signals wrong, Mark is interested.
